After my mother's house and the house I had lived in were sold, Judge Devine expressed his profuse thanks to the Commissioner of Sale, Ms. Kyle Skopic. And, Bill Mountjoy's attorney, John Altmiller, also took the occasion to, again, sing her praises to the court. On our side? Crickets.
Originally, David Alan Warrington had been appointed to handle the matter. Skopic replaced him following Warrington's appointment as General Counsel for President Trump. It didn't seem like much of a loss at the time - after all, neither side liked Warrington very much. Although, the reality is that's how it should be... a true independent third-party isn’t going to be pals with either of us.
Before this experience, I would have never believed a court-appointed attorney could be as blatantly biased as Kyle Skopic. Yet, when you're literally mistaken as being Bill's personal attorney on several occasions, you're doing it wrong. Time and time again, Ms. Skopic’s heavy favoritism was on display... so much so that I couldn't just write a post or two about all her shenanigans. I have to give Ms. Kyle Skopic her own page. Well, I'll start with a page but that might not be enough. I might need an entirely new website to even describe a fraction of the rampant prejudice she displayed towards my mother.
