I don't really think it matters whether Bill is my father; he would agree. The truth is irrelevant to narcissists; the only thing that matters to Bill Mountjoy is that whatever story he is telling at the moment serves his current needs and maintains his superiority. And, that's where we differ. I don't think the answer matters because the way my mother and I were treated by him was (and continues to be) reprehensible - regardless of whether we are related by blood.
